AEO Enhancer Documentation

Welcome to the AEO Enhancer docs. This wiki explains what the app does, how the approval first workflow works, and how to get publishable outputs tied to a specific query.

What AEO Enhancer does

AEO Enhancer helps Shopify merchants improve AI search visibility by generating and managing structured changes that are:

  1. Previewed first
  2. Approved by a human
  3. Executed safely
  4. Fully auditable and reversible with rollback

You will see two main categories of improvements:

  1. Schema and technical enhancements that improve clarity for search and AI systems
  2. Content improvements that generate publishable assets and store them in approved locations for storefront rendering

Core workflow

Every improvement follows the same lifecycle:

  1. Preview
You can review exactly what will change before anything is applied

  2. Approve
    You explicitly approve the change

  3. Execute
The app applies the approved change using a safe, idempotent executor

  4. Rollback
If needed, you can revert the change to the previous state

To learn the full flow, read: Workflows then Preview approve execute rollback

Where generated content goes

AEO Enhancer uses draft and approved storage so your live storefront stays controlled:

  1. Draft outputs are created first
  2. Approved outputs are written only after execution
  3. Storefront rendering should use approved outputs only

If you are configuring storefront blocks or theme extension rendering, always target approved values.
